What We Do

Our Services

Here's the concrete work we handle most for homes around Raleigh.

Concrete Driveways

A driveway thick enough and reinforced enough to carry your vehicles for years.

Concrete Patios

A patio finish that matches how you actually use your backyard.

Stamped Concrete

Get the look of pavers or stone without the joints that grow weeds.

Concrete Repair

Cracked or sunken concrete fixed instead of torn out and repoured.

Concrete Sidewalks

A walkway poured to code, with the slope water actually drains toward.

Retaining Walls

Keep a sloped yard's soil where it belongs instead of in your patio.

Who We Are

A Local Crew That Pours Concrete for a Living

We're the crew you call when a driveway is cracking down the middle or a patio slab has started tipping toward the house. Most of what we pour is for homeowners in Raleigh and the towns around it, not big commercial jobs. If you're reading this, there's a decent chance you've got a slab that's sinking, a walkway that heaved last winter, or bare dirt where a driveway used to be. Concrete work looks simple until the ground underneath it does something you didn't plan for.

That's the part we spend the most time on, the ground, not the concrete itself. We compact the subgrade in layers, run wire mesh or rebar depending on the load the slab will carry, and cut control joints the same day we finish the pour so the slab cracks where we tell it to instead of wherever it wants. A driveway gets a different thickness and reinforcement than a patio because cars are heavier than patio furniture. We tell you the cure time before you sign anything, not after, so you're not parking on wet concrete three days early.

The guys showed up right when the truck did, cut the joints the next morning, and my patio in Garner hasn't cracked once in the summer heat.

Concrete Patios · Durham, NC
Rescheduled our pour twice because of rain, kind of a pain, but I'd rather wait than have a driveway that scales apart in two years.

Concrete Driveways · Cary, NC
Had a sunken slab by our garage in Wake Forest, they mudjacked it instead of ripping it all out. Saved us a chunk of money.

Common Questions

Questions we get a lot

Questions people usually ask before calling a concrete contractor.

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Raleigh?
A typical Raleigh concrete driveway runs a few dollars per square foot for a plain broom finish, more for stamped or colored concrete, and the total depends on slab thickness, the amount of grading and base prep needed, and how much reinforcement is required. A driveway needing significant clay excavation or drainage work will cost more than one poured on already-stable ground.
Are you licensed and insured to pour concrete in North Carolina?
A licensed concrete contractor in North Carolina should carry general liability insurance and, for larger jobs, hold the appropriate state contractor license, and any legitimate concrete company can hand over certificates on request before work starts. Ask to see proof of insurance before signing a contract for driveway, patio, or foundation work.
How soon can you start a concrete project?
Start dates for concrete work depend on the current job schedule and the weather forecast, since a pour needs several dry days in a row to cure properly. Smaller jobs like a sidewalk repair can often be scheduled within a week or two, while a full driveway or patio may take longer during peak spring and fall pouring season.
What areas around Raleigh do you cover?
Concrete contractors based in Raleigh typically serve the surrounding towns within roughly a 30 to 50 mile radius, including Cary, Durham, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, and Holly Springs. Travel distance can affect scheduling for smaller repair jobs more than it does for larger pours.
Do you work on both houses and rental properties?
Concrete contractors generally take on both owner-occupied homes and rental or investment properties, since driveways, patios, and walkways require the same base prep and reinforcement regardless of who owns the home. Landlords should expect the same written quote and inspection process as any homeowner.
Will you take on a small job like a single sidewalk slab?
Most concrete contractors will take on small jobs like a single sidewalk panel or a short walkway repair, though minimum charges may apply since mobilizing a crew and a concrete truck costs roughly the same whether the pour is 20 square feet or 200. It's worth asking directly what the minimum job size or trip charge looks like.
How do I get started on a concrete quote?
Getting a quote for concrete work usually starts with a call or a site visit to measure the area, check ground conditions, and talk through the finish wanted. Photos of the current driveway, patio, or crack help a contractor give a more accurate estimate before ever stepping on site.
What affects the price of a concrete job the most?
The biggest factors in a concrete project's price are square footage, slab thickness and reinforcement required, how much excavation or base prep the site needs, and the finish, since stamped or colored concrete costs more than a plain broom finish. Difficult site access for the concrete truck can also add to the cost.
Do you require a deposit before starting work?
Most concrete contractors require a deposit before scheduling material and crew time, with the remaining balance due once the pour is finished and, on larger jobs, sometimes split into stages. The deposit amount and payment schedule should be spelled out in the written quote before any work begins.
What happens if it rains on the day of my pour?
Concrete cannot be poured in heavy rain because water changes the mix ratio and weakens the finished slab, so a scheduled pour gets pushed to the next dry day when rain is in the forecast. A good concrete contractor calls to reschedule before the truck is dispatched rather than showing up and hoping for the best.
